NOTICE PURSUANT TO SECTION 64(1)(b) OF THE SECURITIES ACT, CHAP. 83:02 AND RULE 603 OF THE TRINIDAD AND TOBAGO STOCK EXCHANGE RULES
STRATEGICE FINANCING ARRANGEMENTS
The Board of Directors of ANSA McAL Limited (“ANSA McAL”) approved the execution of strategic financing arrangements as of July 17, 2026 among ANSA McAL, its subsidiary Caribbean Development Company Limited and Inter-American Investment Corporation (“IDB Invest”) for up to US$500 Million.
The financing arrangements are senior unsecured facilities and include (i) US$150 Million Committed Term Loan, (ii) US$250 Million Uncommitted Term Loan and (iii) US$100 Million Trade Finance Facility; with an initial commitment of US$200 Million.
The initial commitment comprises US$150 Million from IDB Invest, including a US$100 Million term loan and a US$50 Million revolving credit facility, as well as US$50 Million from the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) through its Trust Fund for the Achievement of Development of Latin America and the Caribbean (TADAC).
This strategic partnership is intended to support strategic investments in key sectors in the Caribbean, strengthening regional competitiveness, resilience and long-term sustainable growth. The financing will support investments in manufacturing, logistics, recycling, distribution, and supply chain infrastructure. These initiatives are expected to diversify exports, generate quality employment opportunities, and enhance the competitiveness and resilience of productive sectors.
