RBC launches new products focused on savings

Getting The Bahamas back into saving ways is the mission of RBC which has launched two of new products, Royal Premier Banking and Royal Certified Services.

The packages were specifically made to target customers who perform bank transactions frequently and the goal is to decrease the costs incurred from various bank charges. Vice Nathaniel Beneby, president and country head, said the new services will aid clients who utilise it and any form of savings the bank could provide during these challenging economic times is important.

“The monthly fee for Royal Certified Service and Royal Premier Banking is less than what customers would normally pay for all separate service,” Beneby said. “In this current economic environment, we must now more than ever find ways to help clients save and stretch their dollars.” Beneby also said customers who use the new services can save up to 20 per cent monthly in charges coming from transaction fees.

The packages include a variety of different services and is designed to suit the customer’s banking style. Royal Premier Banking is intended for casual users who perform few transactions daily. Some of the benefits include up to ten free check transactions and four ATM withdrawals per month and a 1/4 per cent reduced rate on personal loans. The monthly flat fee for the package is US$31.
