ANSA McAL upgrades to Microsoft Dynamics AX

THE ANSA McAL Group has upped its information technology ante with the implementation of Microsoft Dynamics AX as its new enterprise resource planning business system. In a move, described as “a strategic investment: by Gerry Brooks, the Group’s chief operating officer, ANSA McAL is expected to benefit from improved and streamlined business processes.“We have done an extensive business process review and with the implementation of Microsoft Dynamics AX, we plan to implement industry best business processes, improve customer service and streamline our operations.

“We operate in eight economic sectors spread across the Western Hemisphere and we needed an ERP system that could provide corporate financials and operational and manufacturing functionality especially for our beverage and manufacturing sectors. “Microsoft Dynamics AX emerged as the business system of choice, particularly for its extensive functionality and ease of use for our users,” Brooks said in a statement. Microsoft Dynamics AX is designed to meet the business requirements of companies like ANSA McAL and provides productivity and an ease-of use user experience. Pradeep Raman, general manager, Microsoft T&T, said: “Microsoft believes in helping our customers and partners to leverage the power of technology to achieve their full potential.“We are fully committed to servicing and supporting the Caribbean region, to help our customers grow their business while innovating for the future. “We are pleased to see that ANSA McAL is implementing our Microsoft Dynamics AX solution to improve and help streamline their business processes.”

To manage and provide consulting services for the implementation of Microsoft Dynamics AX, ANSA McAL chose Winfosoft Inc, and Esprit Consultants Ltd, as implementation partners. Winfosoft Inc, a United States firm specialising in Microsoft Dynamics AX, has implemented many global projects and provides very experienced Microsoft Dynamics AX consultants with extensive industry expertise in food and beverage and manufacturing. “We are excited to work with ANSA McAL to help them achieve the return on investment goals they have established,” said David Myers president of Winfosoft Inc. Esprit Consultants, which works with working with Winfosoft, will provide the local support and local business consulting expertise. “Esprit has many customers in T&T where we provide implementation services and business consulting support and are excited to work with ANSA McAL and Winfosoft in providing local business consulting expertise,” said Rabindra Jaggernauth, managing director, Esprit Consultants.
