GraceKennedy Limited Press Release – Decision to delist from the Barbados Stock Exchange and Eastern Caribbean Securities Exc

Mar 25, 2010

The following Press Release was received from GraceKennedy Limited:

PRESS RELEASE

GraceKennedy Limited has decided to delist its stock from the Barbados Stock Exchange (“BSE”) and Eastern Caribbean Securities Exchange (“ECSE”) as of the close of business on June 30, 2010 (“the Effective Date”)

The decision to delist was taken primarily due to the low levels of trading in GraceKennedy’s stock on both these exchanges which do not justify the costs associated with maintaining the listings. The Company will however continue to maintain the listings on the Jamaica and Trinidad & Tobago stock exchanges. As at December 31, 2009 there were 64 of our stockholders on the Barbados Central Securities Depository and 45 stockholders on the Eastern Caribbean Central Securities Depository. This compares with 1,504 stockholders on the Trinidad Central Securities Depository and 5,611 on the Jamaica Central Securities Depository and the GraceKennedy main register.

GraceKennedy values the support and interest of its stockholders in Barbados and the Eastern Caribbean and the delisting on these stock exchanges in Barbados and the Eastern Caribbean will not prevent our stockholders in these territories from continuing to maintain their investment in our company through either:

(i) The withdrawal of their stockholdings from the relevant central securities depository in Barbados or the Eastern Caribbean and request for a physical stock certificate in their own name or

(ii) The transfer of their stockholdings from the Barbados Central Securities Depository or the Eastern Caribbean Securities Depository as the case may be to the Jamaica Central Securities Depository or the Trinidad and Tobago Central Securities Depository.

The Company will be communicating with each affected stockholder in respect of these options.

The Company wishes to emphasize that it continues to support the regional stock exchanges and thanks the management and staff of the BSE and the ECSE as well as the Eastern Caribbean Central Securities Depository (“ECCSD”) and the Barbados Central Securities Depository (“BCSD”) for their support and cooperation over the period our Company was listed on the stock exchanges in these territories.
