Angostura has not filed

Angostura had already asked the Trinidad and Tobago Stock Exchange (TTSE) for an extension to April 30, 2009 but was unable to meet that deadline. Now, the company said it anticipates that the financial statements for 2008 will be published on or before May 31, 2009.

“We are keeping an eye on that date,” said TTSE managing director Wain Iton. As Angostura stock traded at $6.90 yesterday, sources pointed out that CL Financial’s inter-group borrowing to finance some of its deals could have left Angostura with a hole in its books.
