Scotiabank welcomes Brian Hackett to its Board of Directors.

Scotiabank Trinidad and Tobago Limited has appointed Mr. Brian Hackett to its Board of Directors, effective September 8, 2026.

Brian is an Independent Consultant and retired Territory Senior Partner of PwC Trinidad and Tobago, bringing more than 35years of leadership and advisory experience across the Caribbean. His experience spans a range of sectors, including financial services, energy, manufacturing, retail and distribution, and the public sector, where he has supported organizations in achieving their strategic and growth objectives. Widely recognized as a trusted adviser, Brian has held several senior leadership roles within PwC, including Territory Leader of PwC Trinidad and Tobago and the Trinidad and Guyana firms, Advisory Leader for PwC in the Caribbean, and member of the PwC in the Caribbean Leadership Team, with extensive expertise in corporate strategy, finance, governance, mergers and acquisitions, capital raising and transaction advisory service.
