NCB FINANCIAL GROUP LIMITED ANNOUNCES LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENTS

NCB Financial Group Limited (NCBFG) announces the following leadership developments across the Group as it executes its succession plan:

Executive Appointments and Changes at NCBFG

- Mr Robert Almeida completes his term as Group Chief Executive Officer (Group CEO) on September 30, 2026. During his tenure, he led the Group through a significant period of transformation and restructuring, sharpening its strategic focus, strengthening performance and laying a firm foundation for sustainable growth. NCBFG thanks him for his leadership, commitment and contribution during this important phase for the Group. Mr Almeida’s directorships on the Boards of NCBFG, National Commercial Bank Jamaica Limited (NCBJ) and Guardian Holdings Limited will also end on September 30, 2026. He will continue to serve as a director of Clarien Bank Limited after that date.

- Mr Julian Mair is being appointed Group CEO of NCBFG, effective November 17, 2026. Mr Mair brings more than 33 years of experience in the financial services industry. His extensive leadership, strategic expertise and regional experience will support the Group’s continued growth.

- Mr Dave Garcia will become Group Chief Operating Officer (Group COO) of NCBFG, effective September 1, 2026. He will partner with the Group CEO to execute the Group’s strategy and business plan, ensuring effective risk, governance, organisational capability, and service delivery across all Group entities. He has approximately two decades of senior leadership experience in the NCB Group, including his recent roles as Group General Counsel and Chief Administrative Officer of NCBFG and Executive Vice President – Corporate Services of NCBJ which end with his appointment as Group COO. He will act as Group CEO from October 1, 2026 until Mr Mair assumes office.

- Mrs Ky-Ann Taylor will replace Mr Garcia in the roles of Group General Counsel and Corporate Secretary, effective September 1, 2026. Mrs Taylor brings significant legal and governance expertise and will oversee the Group’s legal and corporate governance functions. She will also continue to serve as General Counsel for NCBJ.

Sheree Martin Appointed CEO of NCBJ
NCBFG also advises that Mrs Sheree Martin has been formally appointed Chief Executive Officer of NCBJ, the Group’s major banking subsidiary, effective September 1, 2026. Mrs Martin has served as Interim CEO since January 2026, providing strong, hands-on leadership and developing NCBJ’s capacity to execute on its strategic and operational priorities.
