Appointment of New Director

The Board of Directors of Agostini Limited is pleased to announce the appointment of Ms. Karen Darbasie as a Director of the Company, effective June 1, 2026.

Ms. Karen Darbasie is an accomplished Senior Executive with over three(3) decades of experience in the financial services and telecommunications industries. She previously held the position of Group Chief Executive Officer at the First Citizens Group from April 2015 until her retirement in October 2025. Prior to this role she held several senior positions at Citibank (Trinidad and Tobago) Limited.

In addition, Ms. Darbasie has served as a director on several boards, including those of the American Chamber of Commerce of Trinidad and Tobago, the Energy Chamber of Trinidad and Tobago, St Lucia Electricity Services Limited, United Way of Trinidad and Tobago and Trinidad Nitrogen Company Limited, where she was Chairman.

Ms. Darbasie holds a degree in Electrical Engineering with First Class Honours from The University of the West Indies, a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with distinction from the University of Warwick and a Master of Science (MSc) with distinction from the University of Essex.

In2024, in recognition of her excellence in the financial services sector and service to her country, Ms. Darbasie was awarded the Chaconia Medal Gold (Banking and Finance) by the Government of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago.
