National Flour Mills Limited (NFM) is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Alimuddin Mohammed to its Board of Directors pursuant to the powers given to the Directors under section 77 of the Companies Act Chapter 81:01 to fill a vacancy among the Directors of NFM. Mr. Mohammed was elected by the Directors of NFM at a Board Meeting held on January 27th, 2012 to fill the vacancy created by the death of Director Mayanti Beharry and shall hold office until the next Annual Meeting of NFM at which time he will be eligible for election as a Director.

Mr. Mohammed is a businessman with extensive experience and training in the insurance industry and has also held various positions in the San Juan Business Association. He is a past president of that Association and is currently its Director of Education & Research. He also served on the Board of the Tourism Development Company Ltd and the National Commission for Self Help, and is an avid community and social worker who is actively involved in local culture.
