JMMB to acquire AIC Securities in Trinidad

JMMB Group announced late Friday that it has got regulatory approval to acquire 100 per cent of AIC Securities Limited based in Trinidad & Tobago.

The Jamaican company already owns a banking group in Trinidad.

The deal can now proceed to closure, according to JMMB. The terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

AIC Securities, a member of the AIC Financial Group, offers portfolio management, investment advisory, and stock brokerage services, and is a member of the Trinidad & Tobago Stock Exchange.
