JMMB Group Limited - Notice of Appointment of a Senior Officer

The Trinidad and Tobago Stock Exchange Limited (TTSE) received notice from JMMBGL advising that Mr. Peter Thompson has been appointed as Group Chief Client Investment Officer, effective April 01st, 2023. In this role, Mr Thompson will lead the design and oversee the implementation of the Group Client Managed Portfolio framework, to facilitate the consistent optimization of returns on the portfolios for all off-balance sheet portfolios, across the JMMB Group of companies. The role will see Mr. Thompson responsible for: 

• Leading the development and standardization of the investment management and governance structure for off-balance sheet portfolios across the group.
• Harmonizing the investment strategy, across the group for all off-balance sheet portfolios across the group.

Mr. Thompson has over twenty (20) years’ experience in the financial industry and has held positions in research, business development and investment management at JMMB. He has a M.Sc. in Economics from the University of the West Indies, is a CFA charter holder and has the right to use CIPM designation from the CFA Institute.
