Tugwell Henry rejoins Scotia Group as Exec VP

Audrey Tugwell Henry, who recently tendered her resignation to the National Commercial Bank (NCB), has taken up the post of executive vice president, Retail Banking at Scotia Group.

Tugwell Henry will assume the new role at Scotia effective September 4, after stepping down as the senior general manager of the Retail Banking Division at the National Commercial Bank (NCB) on August 31.

Hailing from Montego Bay, Tugwell Henry previously served as Senior Vice President of Retail & Electronic Banking for the Scotia Group, a post she held until May 2008, before joining NCB that same year.

She is currently responsible for implementing initiatives that will allow NCB to achieve its targeted growth and profitability, as well as evaluating market trends both locally and internationally.

Tugwell Henry's foray in banking began in 1987 when she worked as a teller at Mutual Security Bank.

Tugwell Henry holds a Master of Business Administration in General Management and a Bachelor of Science from the University of the West Indies, along with a Diploma in Education from Church Teachers College.
