Angostura named vodka distributor

Angostura has been appointed the official distributor of Tito’s Handmade Vodka in T&T. 

The brand, known as America’s original craft vodka, is now available at bars, restaurants, wholesalers and retailers across the country.

“We are extremely excited to offer Tito’s Handmade Vodka in Trinidad and Tobago. It’s a dynamic market and we’re proud to partner with Angostura Ltd to expand our distribution there,” said Bert “Tito” Beveridge, founder and master distiller.

Based in Texas, Tito’s Handmade Vodka is one of the fastest growing vodka brands in the United States. It received early recognition when Tito’s eared the Unanimous Double Gold Medal at the World Spirits Competition in 2001 over 71 other vodkas, including established and more expensive brands.

Tito’s Handmade Vodka has been awarded 95 points by Wine Enthusiast and was recognised with the UCC Chairman’s Trophy for World’s Best Vodka Tonic at the 2001 Ultimate Cocktail Challenge. It has also been named the 2014 Spirit Brand/Distiller of the Year by Wine Enthusiast’s Wine Star Awards.

The brand is sold within the US, many Caribbean islands and internationally, including New Zealand, Vietnam and provinces in Canada, as well as through United Airlines and American Airlines.
