TTSE Releases SBTT Bonus Issue Timetable

The timetable concerning Scotiabank's Bonus Issue of shares was released by the Stock Exchange today. It is as follows:

Ex-Bonus Date : September 26, 2006
Close of Register: September 28, 2006
Mailing of Certificates: October 19, 2006

The Pro-Rata Entitlement is one ordinary share for every two ordinary shares held.
