Grenada police warn public to be on lookout for illegal EC$100 notes

ST. GEORGE’S, Grenada, Tuesday March 25, 2014, CMC – Grenada police Tuesday urged the public to be on the lookout for counterfeit EC$100 (One EC dollar = US$0.37 cents) notes now in circulation on the island.

The police in a brief statement said that the notes bear the serial number VM189988.

It gave no further details as to why it had labeled the notes as counterfeits, but urged the public “to exercise utmost vigilance and caution when doing business”.
