New Scotiabank corporate GM

Larry Nath has been appointed General Manager, Corporate Banking at Scotiabank Trinidad and Tobago Limited, the bank announced yesterday.

According to a Scotiabank press release, Nath brings a wealth of experience to this post, having joined the Scotiabank team since July 1990, where he began as a Management Trainee.

He quickly moved up the corporate ladder holding a number of management positions within the bank, including Account Manager, Senior Manager, and Corporate Manager at Scotia Centre branch, the bank said.

The release added that earlier this year, Nath accepted and successfully completed a training assignment at The Bank of Nova Scotia, International Banking in Toronto, Canada.

Nath holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and a Master's Degree from Perdue University. He has served on several boards of directors in Trinidad and Tobago, including the Local Content Committee, in conjunction with the Ministry of Energy and served as Deputy Chairman of the Water and Sewerage Authority (WASA).
