RBTT - Announcement of Special Meeting

RBTT Financial Holdings Limited has informed the Exchange that the Board of Directors has called a special meeting of the shareholders of RBTT Financial Holdings Limited (“Company”) which will be held at the Ballroom, Hilton Trinidad and Conference Centre, Lady Young Road, Port of Spain, Trinidad on March 26th, 2008 at 9:30am in order for the shareholders to approve a special resolution to authorize and approve the amalgamation of a newly incorporated, indirect, wholly-owned Trinidad and Tobago subsidiary of Royal bank of Canada with the Company to create an amalgamated corporation.

The record date for determining shareholders who are entitled to receive notice of and vote at the special meeting has been fixed as February 18th, 2008.

The register of members will be closed on February 18th, 2008.

The Notice to Shareholders will be published in the local newspapers on Monday 11th, February 2008.
