Trinidad Cement Limited - Online Availability of Annual Report and Postponement of Annual Meeting

Trinidad Cement Limited (“TCL” or “the Company”) hereby advises the Shareholders of the Company, that the Annual Report for the year ended December 31, 2019 can be accessed on the company’s website www.tclgroup.com. Upon resumption of regular mail delivery services, a copy of the report shall be posted to each member listed on the register as at the record date – March 27, 2020.

Shareholders of the Company are further advised that arrangements for the company’s Annual Meeting, mandated by the Companies Act to be held on or before August 24, 2020, have been put on hold. This decision was taken by the Board of Directors, in view of the COVID-19 pandemic; TCL’s responsibility to adhere to physical distancing measures; the prohibition of mass gatherings; and to safeguard the health and safety of our shareholders and other stakeholders.

We thank all shareholders for their understanding and remain committed to convening the meeting once the national situation permits. At such time, the company shall issue the Notice of Annual Meeting as well as the Annual Meeting package, in accordance with statutory regulations.
