National Commercial Bank Jamaica Limited - Suspension of Trading

Following a notice by the Trinidad and Tobago Stock Exchange Limited (TTSE) dated January 30, 2017, NCBJ has advised that the proposed Scheme of Arrangement among NCBJ, NCB Financial Group Limited (NCBFG) and their respective shareholders was sanctioned by Order of the Supreme Court of Judicature of Jamaica on February 28, 2017.

NCBJ will be seeking on March 09, 2017 to delist its shares on the TTSE and simultaneously list an equal number of new NCBFG ordinary shares on the TTSE. Please be advised that trading of NCBJ will be suspended after the market closes on March 03, 2017, pending the filing of the Court Order with the Registrar of Companies. Suspension of trading in NCBJ shares will also simultaneously occur on the Jamaica Stock Exchange, the company’s Main Market.
