TCL increases cement prices 6.5 per cent

The country's only cement producer, Trinidad Cement Limited (TCL), yesterday announced an increase in the price of cement.

TCL summoned contractors to a meeting yesterday at which it informed them that effective September 1, the price of cement will increase by 6.5 per cent.

TCL announced that cement prices in the export market will rise by 12 per cent.
