Suspension of Trading in RBTT Financial Holdings Limited

RBTT Financial Holdings Limited (RBTT) has advised the Exchange that they have received the approval of the banking regulators in Trinidad and Tobago, Barbados, Jamaica, the Eastern Caribbean States, the Netherlands Antilles and Aruba. As such, RBTT and Royal Bank of Canada (RBC) have jointly agreed that the effective date of the amalgamation will be June 16, 2008.

As a result, trading in RBTT will be suspended on the morning of Monday 2nd June, 2008 to allow for the execution of the various activities necessary to deliver to holders of RBTT ordinary shares the consideration in a timely manner.
