Bajans making a bid

A Barbadian consortium is now making a bid for control of Barbados Shipping & Trading.

Chairman of Neal & Massy Arthur Lok Jack late last night confirmed he was placed on notice yesterday evening by "two former PriceWaterhouse executives" that they would announce their plans within the next 24 hours.

Lok Jack told the MIDWEEK NATION he met with the two Barbadians who also expressed an interest in working with Neal & Massy.

"They were very courteous and told us they were putting a notice in the Press of their intentions," he added.

Investigations revealed the two accountants are involved in a number of major real estate developments and sit on several boards. (GE)
